Mexico City. A person of British nationality was arrested in our country and extradited to Scotland, where he is required for the crime of failing to appear without reasonable excuse at a court hearing.
The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) reported that the detainee, identified as Roderick “F”, was subject to prosecution, accused of having sent messages of a sexual nature to a minor via social networks, this between December 2015 and January of 2016.
The subject pleaded guilty and continued his process at liberty, however, he did not appear at the hearing where he would be sentenced, scheduled for December 5, 2016.
Investigations by the authorities of Great Britain managed to locate the fugitive in Mexico, for which they asked the authorities of our country for help in their apprehension.
