As every year, Guanajuato, a World Heritage City, is preparing to reactivate activities during the month of November, so aware and concerned about the pandemic that has affected the whole world, the capital has taken actions regarding protocol measures of hygiene to guarantee the health of locals and visitors to the municipality, that is why during the month of November only activities that comply with health regulations will be carried out, with a capacity of half, to guarantee the health of the premises and foreigners.
“This year our priority is everyone’s health, so until today we are evaluating the activities that we will carry out, the main thing is that attendees have all the security measures to safeguard the integrity of all. Currently, some activities have been reactivated and hoteliers, restaurants, and tour operators are working with all the necessary measures and with a capacity of 30% ”, said Ricardo Vázquez, Director of the Tourism Promotion Council of Guanajuato Capital.

Javier Eduardo Pérez, President of the Tourism Promotion Council of Guanajuato Capital and President of Hoteles Tesoros, stated that: “In Guanajuato, we are reactivating activities little by little and all local and foreign tourists can have the certainty that we are following all the health protocols established by the Ministry of Health. The hotels and restaurants of the Capital are operating at 30% of their capacity and we continue working to strengthen the tourist value chain that is able to favor tourism service providers, as long as the traffic light allows it, we will be receiving tourists with the relevant measures ”.
Among the scheduled activities is “Tasting Mexico“, the meeting of Mexican wines that in its tenth edition, will be held on an itinerant basis, divided into two dates: starting on November 27 and 28 and ending on November 4 and 5. December, with 10 different tours per day, small groups of a maximum of 10 people, with established schedules for conducting tastings, workshops with all security measures and filters to take care of exhibitors and attendees, following the health protocols that ask the Ministry of Health.
